SUSPENSIONS
Standard suspension setting derives from several exten-
sive demanding tests in various usage conditions and
covers a very wide range of use.
WARNING*:
ALWAYS remember that all the motor-
cycles and their parts used in competi-
tions of any type are excluded from the
warranty and that all modifications to
standard configuration cause THE VE-
HICLE NON COMPLIANCE WITH TYPE-AP-
PROVAL REQUIREMENTS and it is hence
unsuitable for circulating on public
roads: consequently it may be used only
in "CLOSED CIRCUITS" by authorised sub-
jects holding the relevant driving licence
or authorisation.

ADJUSTING THE SHOCK ABSORBER
The rear shock absorber is calibrated for running with the
rider plus a small bag only. It is thus recommended to
adjust the shock absorber setting (spring preload) when
riding with a passenger.
WARNING*: The shock absorber adjust-
ment affects both the stability and the
handling of the motorcycle. After chang-
ing the standard suspension setting,
ride with care.
We advise measuring the reference dis-
tance "A" before making any change.
