ADJUSTMENT OF THE CLUTCH CONTROL LEVER
To adjust the clutch control lever, you will need to adjust
cable tension using the adjuster on the lever.
- Remove the rubber protection (1).
- Loosen the lock ring nut (3) and turn the tensioner
(2).
There should be at least 0.39 in. (10 mm) free play
(A) before the clutch begins to disengage.
- When through with the adjustment, tighten the lock
ring nut (3) and refit the rubber protection (1).

ADJUSTMENT OF THE STARTER LEVER
- Remove the rubber protection (1).
- Loosen the check nut (4) and turn the tensioner (4).
Free play (B) must be at least 0.2 in. (5 mm).
- When through with the adjustment, tighten the check
nut (5) and refit the rubber protection (1).
