Malfunction
The tool is fired frequently

Possible cause
The tool is not pressed fully against
the working surface and/or the
trigger is not pulled fully.
Tool has reached its target life of
40,000 fasteners driven.
Jammed piston

Hard and/or knotty wood
Empty gas can
Inadequate contact / no base ma-
terial
Working speed too high

Action to be taken
▶ Press the tool fully into contact
with the workpiece and do not
release the trigger until the nail
has been fully driven.
