Checking the condition

Check the condition of the fastener driving tool every time before
using it.
Make certain the fastener driving tool is in flawless condition.
Check the following points in particular:
-
The hose line must be undamaged.
-
All the parts of the fastener driving tool and all accessory parts
must be securely fastened.
-
The safety devices must not be blocked or otherwise adversely
affected in terms of their function.
-
The spring of the triggering safety device must not be damaged.
-
There must be no external damage such as scratches or dents
visible on any parts of the fastener driving tool or the accessory.
Scratches in the paint on the housing or magazine are not
considered damage.
If a fastener driving tool is damaged, do not connect it
to a compressed air supply.
If a fastener driving tool is damaged, have it repaired
by a qualified specialist before you place it in operation.
Connecting the fastener driving tool to the compressed air
supply
You can connect the fastener driving tool to a compressor
or to a compressed air system.
Operation with a compressor or compressed air system is only possible
if the following preconditions are met:
The operating pressure of the compressor or compressed air system
must be no more than 10 % above the maximum operating pressure
of the fastener driving tool. Information about the operating pressure
of the fastener driving tool can be found in this section on page 29.
For compressed air systems with a higher pressure, a pressure
control valve (pressure reducer) with a downstream pressure limiting
valve must be installed in the compressed air line.
