6. Cleaning and maintenance

6.1 Safety advice

o Before beginning with repair or cleaning works make sure the device has been
disconnected from power supply and has cooled down.
o Do not use any acid agents and make sure no water ingresses the device.
o To protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, its cables and
the plug in water or other liquids.
CAUTION!
The device is not suited for direct washing via water jets.
Therefore, you must not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!

6.2 Cleaning

o Wash the device regularly.
o Before washing, remove the device's plug from its socket and wait for the device to
cool down.
o The heater may be easily removed from the oil chamber by lifting and removing the
fuse box. Then the heater and the oil chamber may be easily cleaned.
CAUTION!
Do not wash the fuse box (control panel) with excess amounts of water and do not
submerge. Water must not get inside as it may cause the occurrence of dangerous
stray currents and disturb the device operation.
Thoroughly dry all elements of the device before remounting them!
o When the oil is cold pour it carefully into the container.
Ensure the container is secure and stable.
o Wipe the control panel, external surface of the device and the power cord with a moist
cloth and mild cleaning agent.
o Do not use harsh chemicals or scouring agents when cleaning, as they may damage
the deep fryer. Stubborn dirt may be spot soaked in order to remove.
o Dry all elements thoroughly and reassemble the device.
o If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, store it in a dry place.
Protect it from harsh fumes and gases.
