• Before replacing the top cover of the mains plug
ensure that the cable restraint (3) is holding the
outer sheath of the cable firmly and that the two
leads are correctly fixed at the terminal screws.

Using an extension cable
If an extension cable is required, use an approved
extension cable suitable for the power input of this
tool (see technical data). The minimum conductor size

Replacing the saw blade (fig. B)
• Move the blade clamp slider (6) up to release
the blade clamping mechanism.
• Insert the saw blade into the holder (5) until it
engages. The blade can be installed with the
teeth pointing down or up.
• Move the blade clamp slider (6) down to lock the
blade clamping mechanism.
• To remove the saw blade, proceed in reverse order.

Setting the adjustable saw shoe (fig. C)
The saw shoe can be adjusted to limit the depth of
cut and prolong the life of your saw blade.
• Push and hold the release button (3).
• Slide the saw shoe (2) into the desired position.
• Release the button.
