Operation
• MODE/TA button (19)
Keep this button pushed to switch the TA function on or off.
When you receive a traffic programme station, the display shows TP (traffic programme).
When you keep the TA button pushed, TA appears in the display as well.
If a different source is being played (e.g. SD playback), the programme is set to mute during the traffic announcement.
If you listen to a current radio programme at very low volume, volume will automatically turn up for the traffic report.
• Button DSP/PTY (2)
Keep this button pushed to switch the PTY function on or off.
After activation of this function, the display shows the selected programme type.
Use the rotary control VOLUME (9) to set the desired programme type and push one of the buttons
 (8) or  (1) to start searching.
The search stops at the next station that transmits the selected programme type. If no station with the selected
programme type can be found, the display will show PTY NONE.
The following programme modes are available:
NEWS, AFFAIRS, INFO, SPORT, EDUCATE, DRAMA, CULTURE, SCIENCE, VARIED, POP M, ROCK M,
EASY M, LIGHT M, CLASSICS, OTHER M, WEATHER, FINANCE, CHILDREN, SOCIAL, RELIGION, PHONE IN,
TRAVEL, LEISURE, JAZZ, COUNTRY, NATION M, OLDIES, FOLK M, DOCUMENT, TEST, ALARM
