Troubleshooting table

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you
can correct the malfunction.

Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.

Solutions, tips, explanations
Check the socket with another appliance. Check
the fuse.
Check the tightness of the mains plug.
Turn the temperature controller to a higher position
(see "Setting the temperature" on page GB-11).
If the refrigerating temperature increases, the
compressor will once again switch on inde-
pendently.
Select a lower setting (see "Setting the tempera-
ture" on page GB-11).
Select a higher setting (see "Setting the tempera-
ture" on page GB-11).
See "Checking and cleaning the door seals" on
page GB-18.
Place insulation plate between the appliances or
change location.
Only store cooled foods.
Do not exceed the maximum freezing capacity
(see "Product fiche concerning Regulation (EU)
Nr. 1060/2010" on page GB-31).
Defrost the freezer compartment (see "Defrost-
ing and cleaning the inner compartment" on
page GB-18).
Adjust the ambient temperature to the climate
category (see "Product fiche concerning Regula-
tion (EU) Nr. 1060/2010" on page GB-31).
Set the temperature controller to "7". If the com-
pressor does not switch on within an hour, please
contact our service centre (see page GB-30).
