TO FILL THE PROTECTOR:
1. Lay the harness lengthwise on the ground.
2. Make sure that no heavy objects such as the cockpit or reserve chute are lying on the
protector that would make filling more difficult.
3. Take the tube from the rear storage compartment and start inflating the protector with
your mouth.
4. During the filling process, it may help to squeeze shut the tube between breaths to keep
air from escaping.
5. Keeping inflating the protector until it can't take any more air.
6. Make sure that the protector is correctly positioned in its compartment and has not
slipped during inflation. It might be necessary to reposition it to make sure it is properly
seated in its intended compartment.
7. Finally, don't let more than 3 seconds of air escape from the time you remove the tube
from your mouth until you close the tube by bending it.
8. Press the bent hose into the designated sleeve, making sure that no further air escapes
from the protector during the process and that the bent end is firmly seated
in the sleeve!
9. Eventually put the yellow plug into the hose to secure the system.
CAUTION
THE PROTECTOR MUST BE SEALED AFTER INFLATION WITHIN THE 3 SE-
CONDS SPECIFIED TO ENSURE THE FUNCTIONALITY ACCORDING TO LTF
91/09. IF THIS IS NOT DONE, PROTECTION WILL BE INSUFFICIENT!
After landing, just pull the end of the tube out of the sleeve to let the air out of the pro-
tector. Leave the tube open when packing the harness in the rucksack. This will squeeze
the remaining air out by compressing it. Always make sure that no sharp objects, such as
poles, come into contact with the harness.
CAUTION
THE PROTECTOR MUST BE INFLATED ONLY WITH THE MOUTH! PUMPS OR
ANY KIND OF EXTERNAL INFLATION IS EXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN!
