This additional information applies in conjunction with the

This additional information supplements the respective
chapters of the above-mentioned document.

2. Design and function

2.3 Vent valve
By opening or closing the vent valve, the case will be vented to or
sealed from the atmosphere.
Vent valve
To close: Turn approx. 3 turns in the direction of the "CLOSE"

arrow, until the USIT sealing is pressed together fully.
To open: Turn approx. 3 turns in the direction of the "OPEN"
„
arrow, until the retaining ring prevents the vent valve from being
unscrewed further and thus lost.
For any external cleaning ("wash-down"), e.g. in a cabinet
washer, the vent valve must be closed.
