3. Proper use

The cordless multifunction tool can be used
as a cordless trimmer/scythe, a cordless pole-
mounted pruner or a cordless hedge trimmer. The
supplied mounting kits must always be fi tted in
combination with the motor unit.
Cordless trimmer/scythe
Used as a cordless grass trimmer (using the line
spool with cutting line) the tool is designed for
cutting lawns, grassed areas and small weeds.
Used as a cordless scythe (using the cutting bla-
de) the tool is designed for cutting young trees,
strong weeds and light undergrowth.
It is not designed to be used for public facilities,
parks, sports centers, along roadways, or in agri-

culture and forestry.
The operating instructions as supplied by the ma-
nufacturer must be obeyed to ensure that the tool
is used properly.
Important! Due to the high risk of physical injury
to the user, the cordless scythe is not allowed
to be used to clean paths or to chop up tree and
hedge clippings. Similarly, the tool must not be
used to level out high areas such as molehills.
For safety reasons, the cordless scythe must not
be used as a drive unit for other work tools or tool-
kits of any kind.
Cordless pole-mounted pruner
The cordless pole-mounted pruner is designed
for cutting off branches from trees. It is not suita-
ble for extensive sawing work, cutting down trees
or sawing any materials other than wood.
Cordless hedge trimmer
The cordless hedge trimmer is suitable for cutting
hedges, bushes and shrubs.
The equipment is to be used only for its prescri-
bed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a
case of misuse. The user / operator and not the
manufacturer will be liable for any damage or inju-
ries of any kind caused as a result of this.
Please note that our equipment has not been de-
signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be voided if the
machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial
businesses or for equivalent purposes.
Caution!
Residual risks
Even if you use this electric tool in ac-
cordance with the instructions, certain
residual risks cannot be eliminated. The fol-
lowing hazards may arise in connection with
the electric tool's construction and layout:

Cut injuries if no safety clothing is used.
•
Injury and damage to property caused by ca-
tapulted objects.
•
Lung damage if no suitable protective dust
mask is used.
•
Damage to hearing if no suitable ear protec-
tion is applied.
•
Health damage caused by hand-arm vibra-
tions if the tool is used over a longer period or
is not properly guided and maintained.
