Fault
Instrument does not operate for long
enough
2 minutes after switch-on the instrument
switches off
Instrument runs self-test cyclically
(possible only incompletely). Instrument
continually runs display tests
If the faults cannot be rectified by the measures recommended,
or if other faults occur:
Have instrument repaired by trained service personnel.
Cause
Faulty power supply unit
Battery not fully charged
A wrong plug-in power supply unit was
used for charging or more than one
charging sets were used on one plug-in
power supply unit
Faulty charging set
Battery flat
Faulty battery or fuse in power supply unit Replace power supply unit, pages 69 and
Battery absolutely flat (long storage of
instrument outside charging set)
Faulty battery or fuse in power supply unit Replace power supply unit, pages 69 and
Remedy
Replace power supply unit, pages 69 and
70.
Charge battery fully, pages 21 and 22.
Use plug-in power supply unit and
charging set for charging as specified in
the instructions for use.
Check charging set and if necessary, have
it repaired.
