effect of the automatic combustion air regulation will be diminished.
The ember phase and the ember layer
The ember phase occurs when clear blue flames are emitted from a layer of glowing pellets. The ember
phase comprises approximately 30-40% of total combustion time. If necessary, use the shaking device
(11) once during the ember phase to prepare the stove for the next stoking.
Procedure for restoking
There should be only a few embers remaining before restoking in order to avoid the risk of a flue
gas explosion. If the side door (5) is opened during this period, it may result in smoke and dust being
emitted into the room.
1. Shake the remaining pellets by moving the handle (11) up and down in the lowest part.
2. Open the side door (5) and fill the pellet hopper with as many pellets as necessary for your heating
need and required combustion time (1-2 kg. per hour)
3. Check that there are visible flames before leaving the stove.
