USER'S MANUAL
1. DESCRIPTION.
The bell can be used as: doorbell, internal calling device or personal alarm. It does not require bell system. The bell is powered directly from the 230V
power outlet and the transmitter is battery-powered. Frequency 433 MHz is used for transmitting and receiving the signals. Range in the open area appro.
100 m. The user can select 8 sounds and melodies, and has the possibility to upload any sound, melody, a part of his favorite song, voice message etc. via
the cable enclosed to the set, which should be connected to any source of sound (phone, mp3 player, computer, etc.). The bell is also equipped with visual
ringing alarm useful for e.g. hearing-impaired people with with volume control. Three (3) transmitter can be programmed for one bell. Each transmitter can
have different ringtone set (calling location recognition).
2. ASSIGNING THE TRANSMITTER AND SELECTING THE TONE.
The bell is delivered with the already programmed transmitter for the bell and with first sound set. To change a ringtone during pressing the given transmit-
ter, first you should set the given ringtone with buttons "next" (2) and "back" (3) buttons. Then, assign the given transmitter to the bell. To do this, you have
to hold voltage control button (1) for 5 seconds until the bell emits single sound and the signalling diode on the front side of the bell starts flashing. At this
point, the bell enters the programming mode and you should press the transmit button (4) on the transmitter within 5 seconds. Now, the bell will play the
ringtone set confirming correct assignment of the transmitter and completing the procedure for setting the given ringtone and assigning remote control.
To program another transmitter and set proper sound you should repeat whole procedure. You can set different ringtone for each of programmed transmit-
ters. This will allow recognizing the calling location by type of the ringtone.
3. VOLUME CONTROL.
The volume can be adjusted by succssive pressing the button (1).
4. UPLOADING ANY SOUND TO THE BELL MEMORY.
The bell allows uploading any sound, melody, part of music song, voice message etc. using the mini-jack cable included in the kit. This cable should be
connected to the bell and to any music player (phone, mp3 player, computer etc.) equipped with a mini-jack connector (fig. 2).
When this cable is connected to the doorbell and the player, the doorbell automatically enters the recording standby mode. Then start playing the selected
song on the playback device connected to the doorbell. To start recording a selected fragment, press any button on the bell at the desired moment (the start
of recording is signaled by a single beep and by the flashing of the signal diode). Stop playing the song in the player to stop recording the selected part.
At this point, the bell automatically stops recording, signalling it with a double beep and the sound and starting playback the fragment recorded a moment
ago. The maximum length of the recording is 40 seconds.
5. BATTERY REPLACEMENT IN TRANSMITTER
To replace the battery in the transmitter, open the transmitter's housing by gently lifting the latch on the bottom of the housing with the included screwdriver.
Observe correct polarity of the battery.
NOTE! RISK OF EXPLOSION IF THE BATTERY IS REPLACED BY THE WRONG TYPE OF BATTERY.
* The operating range given refers to an open area, i.e. ideal conditions, without obstacles. If there are any obstacles between the receiver and the transmitter it is necessary to foresee
decrease of the operating range: for wood and plaster from 5 to 20%, brick from 20 to 40%, reinforced concrete from 40 to 80%. Use of the radio systems near the metal obstacles is not
recommended due to considerable reduction of the operating range. In addition, overhead and underground high-voltage power lines as well as cell towers located near devices have a
negative impact on the operating range.
DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.
