If you use a tonearm and / or cartridge from different manufacturer please follow the instruction
manual of the particular manufacturer.
3.1 Tonearm set-up

chassis. Please ensure that the tonearm tube
is parallel to the side edge of the chassis
turntable. Tighten the tonearm only slightly
with the provided hex wrench and screws.
Before you finish the tonearm setup, please proceed with the cartridge setup.
The correct height adjustment that is going to be used for the tonearm is depending on the cartridge
you install.

For the next steps, please mount your cartridge on your tonearm (optional as a package: Clearau-
Satisfy Carbon
dio
tonearm). Please leave the stylus protector on the cartridge.
Use the manufacturer's instruction manual during this installation procedure and follow the appro-
priate instructions.
The headshell wires (cartridge connection leads) are colour coded according to the international
standard:
Signal left channel

Signal ground left channel
Signal right channel
Signal ground right channel
Please pay attention on every step to avoid any damages to the cartridge!
Now adjust the tracking force of the cartridge.
Please follow the instructions according the manual of the cartridge you use.
If you are using a Clearaudio Moving Magnet cartridge you can adjust the tracking force or the
wiring of the tonearm (about 20 mN), by turning the tonearm`s counter weight on the threaded bolt
(backside view of the tonearm).
