9. SETTINGS

9.1. Display lighting

The backlight of the display is active when operating the
device and switches off after a certain time when the
radio is not operated.

You can change the time in which the display is brightly
lit. The following times are available:
Permanently bright, 10, 20, 30,
45, 60, 90, 120 and 180 seconds
The current setting has an '*' in the display.
To change the time, please proceed
as follows:
When the radio is on (not in standby mode):
Press and hold the Menu/info button to

open the menu options.
Briefly press the tune- tune + button to

proceed to <system>. Confirm with the
Select button.
Briefly press the tune+ button to

procced to <lighting>.
Confirm using the Select button.
4. <Timeout> is displayed.
Confirm using the Select button.
Briefly press the
Tune- or Tune+ button, to scroll through the
available times for the backlight.
