7.1.1

Assembling the product

The requirements listed here must be strictly adhered to:
The switch cabinet must be mounted securely on a solid fixed base.

Level base, i.e. the base must allow a secure mounting of the switch cabinet.

Mounting of the switch cabinet is permitted in dry rooms only.

Keep ventilation grill free, maintain clearance of at least 100mm .

Ensure accessibility at door opening.

Do not stack Schweisskoffers or switch cabinets.

The housing has to be fixed e.g. on a robot cabinet or frame using the

fasteners provided, depending on the type.
When fixed on a frame or robot cabinet, it has to be rated for Schweisskoffer

load.
7.1.2

Electrical connection of the product

Please perform the following the following steps:
Route power and senor/signal cables separately.

Route shield to earthing or shielding rail with a large area.

Lock all connecting plugs (refer to circuit diagram).

Mount PG screws tightly.

Tighten all clamped connections firmly.

Check mains voltage and permitted operating voltage Schweisskoffer/switch

cabinet (refer to circuit diagram, located on the inside of the cabinet door).
Remount contact protection, i.e. covers removed for connecting work.

Relieve cables by strain relief rail.

7.1.3

Connecting the water supply or pneumatic

Connect the water supply or pneumatic system, if available, refer to circuit
diagram.
Please check for leaks.
Permitted flow temperature range and required flow rate
are dependent on your application. Please note the required
conditions for the welding transformer used.
