Cover approx. 1 cm of the IR window (at the
bottom on a deck-mounted tap, on the left
on a wall-mounted tap) for 3 seconds.
✓ When the IR sensor is released, the
water will flow for 10 minutes.
Options:
• the function can be terminated prema-
turely by covering the IR sensor for
approx. 2 seconds.
• the function can be blocked by a skilled
person.

Cleaning intervals

The following tasks must be carried out when
necessary or at the specified intervals at the latest.
Task
Cleaning the tap housing
Cleaning the tap aerator
Cleaning the basket filter
Cleaning the tap housing
ATTENTION
Surface damage caused by aggressive and
scouring cleaning agents
▶ Never use aggressive cleaning agents that
contain chlorine or are acidic, abrasive or
corrosive.
Prerequisite
– Cleaning mode is activated.

Clean the tap housing with a soft cloth and a
mild liquid cleaning agent.

Dry the tap housing with a soft cloth.

Remove the tap aerator using the
maintenance key.
Clean the tap aerator and, if necessary,
descale.
Mount the tap aerator.
Detach the cover plate. → see illustration
sequence 1 , page 237.
Close both shut-off units or angle stop
valves. → see illustration sequence
page 239.
Release the flush to relieve the pressure.
Remove both filter holders.
Remove and clean both basket filters.
Insert both basket filters.
