Operation
VPS
Specifies whether a possibly emitted
VPS signal should be used for the
recording control (only possible with
GB
German public broadcasters).
After generating an automatic
search timer, it takes up to 30
minutes till the first results are
displayed in the timer overview.
For each EPG scan (default
setting: scan every 30 minutes)
the EPG data is searched for the
desired value.

Show teletext
In addition to the EPG information, the
ReelBox can also display teletext.
To open the teletext of the

currently running broadcaster, press
the button.
 Use the buttons to leaf
forward and backward in the
teletext pages.
 Individual pages in the teletext can
be reached by entering the page
numbers using the numerical keys

 Use the buttons to adjust the
size of the text.
You can exit the teletext by

pressing the buttons or
TimeShift mode
Using the function „TimeShift"
(time-delayed viewing), a program can
be recorded and viewed at the same
time. It is saved on the hard disk in the
TimeShift buffer. This way a program
can be played back while it still is
being recorded.
Switch into TimeShift mode
 Press the
TV mode to interrupt the current
program. The following message
appears on the screen:
