System settings

These settings should only be made
by experienced users, because the
device's operating system can be
influenced, which can cause the loss of
functionality and data.
Display - LCD
 The LCD display on the front of
the ReelBox can be configured
individually here.

 Show Date/Time: Display of data
and time (yes, no)
Show Channel: Display of the

channel name (yes, no)
Show Logo: Display of the channel

logo (no, auto = size of the logo is
adapted automatically, medium:
logo display medium-sized,
large: logo display large)
 Show Symbols: Display of status
symbols such as Dolby, videotext,
etc. (yes, no)
Show ET Symbols: Display of ET

symbols
Show Program: Display of

information on the current program
(yes, no)
Show Timebar: Display of a

progression bar for the current
program (yes, no)
Show Menu: Display of the ReelBox

menu (yes, no)
Show Messages: Display of system


 Show Volume: Display of the volume
bar when changing the volume

Identify replay type: Display the type

of the replay
 Modify replay string: Display
shortened play back text
 Scroll text lines: Display mode for
info texts that are too long to fit
completely into the display.
(never = text is cut off, no scroll;
once = extra-long text scrolls by
once; constantly = extra-long text
scrolls by constantly)
 Scroll speed: Speed of the scrolling
text (1 = lowest speed,
10 = highest speed)
Scroll time interval: Interval between

the scrolling texts
