Switch on the ReelBox with the I/O
mains switch. The start-up progress is
indicated in the display.
Activate the mains switch only in
deep-standby operation, because
otherwise there might be a fault on
the hard disk.
The device features two types of
standby modes:
Pressing the ON/OFF button switches
the device into standby mode.
The deep-standby mode can be
configured in the Setup menu under
Installation.
 At „Enable DeepStandby", select the
setting „Yes".
 At „Go to DeepStandby after (h)",
set the time in hours after which the
ReelBox should switch automatically
from standby mode to deep-standby
mode if no button is pressed in the
meantime.
You can switch the device directly

into deep-standby mode by
pressing the Exit button during

standby mode.
 If you select „0" at „Enable Deep-
Standby", then the ReelBox
switches directly into deep-
standby mode and not only into
standby mode.
Pressing the ON/OFF button switches
the device back on.
You can turn the device off
completely with the I/O mains switch
on the device's back side.
