8.3 PG-SWITCH III

· Connecting of two PG´s at at one PLC
The choose between the PG1-port or the PC2-port makes a integrated sensor,
implementated into the internal electronic. In the sleepmode, PG2 is in the aktive mode.
But when a PG is connected with the PG1-port, the PG-Switch III switches automatically
to the PG1-port.
A LED shows the actuall active PG-port.
If the cable will be disconnected from the sensorport, the portfunktion falls back after 2s to
the PG1-port
· No external powersupply is need for the work of the internal electronic of the PG-Switch.
The electronic takes the power out of the „AG1"-PLC (only the 5VDC)
· Can be operated by all original and compatible programming devices
· Urgend: Connect only active cable to the sensorport, because he acknowledges only the
active ones (for example a PG-COM-Cable). Passive connectingcables doesn´t work,
because the switch doesn´t find them).
· Aktiv PG-ports (the 20mA were switched from the connected PLC to the choosed PG-port)
· All components were connectable as usual without any adaptors.
· All connections and operating elements are at the front of the device
· Compact device in a metal casing
