7 Preface

In the general application field, there are two different models:
PG-Switch · PG-Switch I
· PG-Switch II
· PG-Switch III
AG-Switch · AG-Switch I
· AG-Switch II
· AG-Switch I 4-fach
The switches named above are made for easy connection of two PG´s with one PLC (PG-
Switch) or of one PG with two or four PLC´s (AG-Switch).
The complete electronics are integrated in an industrial metal casing (which is prepared for the
mounting of a switchgear cubicle or a switch board). The device can be fastened directly to
the switchboard.
Connection mechanics, pin seizure, and electrical data meet the respective control
specification. Thus, users can work directly and without special adapters with the normal
cables of the devices they want to connect, like for example PGs and control units.
To guarantee a service without problems, please lay these devices at the earthing
terminal (which is exclusively designed for that) on earth potential!
