● Danger to life if the unit falls with means of
transport/lifting gear which are not permis-
sible or are incorrectly attached. Observe
applicable safety and accident prevention
requirements. Attach means of transport
(cables, chains etc.) only on square wall plate
(EZQ../DZQ..) or on steel wall ring (EZS../
DZS..). Observe the centre of gravity (middle)
during transport. Observe the maximum
permitted loading capacity for lifting gear and
means of transport. Work wearing protective
gloves. Do not stand under a suspended load.
Check unit for transport damage.
● Risk of injury/unit damage if the fan (4 to
34 kg, depending on type) or an object falls
during installation, removal, cleaning, main-
tenance or repair. Protect work areas against
unauthorised access, falls and falling objects.
Observe applicable accident prevention
requirements.
● Risk of injury when working at heights. Use
appropriate climbing aids (ladders). Stability
should be ensured, if necessary have the
climbing aids steadied by a 2nd person.
