Both cables should be of the same kind.
Both cables should have the same length.
Both cables should be installed directly (no loops, S-shaped overlengths)
Always install the cables far away from power cables (never closely parallel)
Never put heavy objects like speaker-systems, flightcased etc. on cables.
Never wind up cables tightly around the elbow, but rather sleek with an interior diameter of 20 to 30 cm.

Switch-adjustments

Ground Lift-switch:
This switch allows the signal ground or chassis ground to be separated in case of a ground conflict. For
highest safety of the equipment, it is recommended to keep the Ground Lift-switch in the GND FLOATING-
position. In case of a ground conflict please set the ground lift-switch to GND LIFT.

Connection with the mains

The electric connection must only be carried out by a qualified electrician!
The occupation of the connection-cables is as follows:
Cable Pin
Brown Live
Blue Neutral
Yellow/Green Earth
The earth has to be connected!
If the device will be directly connected with the local power supply network, a disconnection switch with a
minimum opening of 3 mm at every pole has to be included in the permanent electrical installation.

Operation modes

Stereo operation
Normal operation mode of an amplifier, in which every channel gets its own signal. The most commonly used
mode of amplifiers is stereo-operation at 4 Ohms. Make sure that the operation-mode-switch is correctly set.
Calculation number of speakers – impedance
E.g. 1 speaker à 8 Ohms = 8 Ohms
2 speakers à 8 Ohms = 4 Ohms (parallel)
2 speakers à 8 Ohms = 16 Ohms (in line)
3 speakers à 8 Ohms = 2.66 Ohms (parallel), only for amplifiers capable of handling 2 Ohms
2 speakers à 8 Ohms = 24 Ohms (in line)
4 speakers à 8 Ohms = 2 Ohms (parallel), only for amplifiers capable of handling 2 Ohms
N.B.:
The input-impedance of the speaker-systems should at least be the same or even higher than the output-
impedance of the amplifier.
Bridging
Possibility to run the amplifier in mono-mode, i.e. a channel pair via one input channel. In bridged operation
mode, the voltage is doubled. Consequently, the output impedance is doubled.
Make sure that the amplifier is disconnected from the mains before you press the Bridge-switch on the rear
panel.
Caution! Before switching on your amplifier, please refer to the explanations under Operation.
