Possible Causes
The leading spindle was
dismantled. (Leading spindle
switch was rendered free)

While screwing with leading
cartridge, the over-running
safeguard responded.
Transmission does not run
smoothly
Quill ram does not run
smoothly
Total hole depth detector P1
faulty
Limiting switch spindle sleeve
up and spindle sleeve down
activated at the same time.
Limiting switch spindle sleeve
up and safety switch abutment
ring activated
The set screw-cutting direction
does not match the leading
spindle applied, right/left
screw interchanged

Turn off main switch and on
again.

- Over-running safeguard
After eliminating problem,
activate main switch to delete
fault report.
During the first cycle in the
operational mode "Screwing
with leading cartridge", a
safety test is performed. With
a fixed rotary speed and less
speed torque, the spindle runs
a distance of 4mm, if the route
is not covered in approx. 14
sec., a fault report follows.
