4.0. Transport
Attention! Check delivery for completeness and damage.
Damages incurred during transport have to be immediately reported to the deliverer (shipping agent,
post service, railways. (See yellow leaflet)
5.0. Installing the Machine
The drilling machine must be installed on a solid surface and adjusted with a spirit level. If the machine is
bolted into the floor, care has to be taken base is not warped. It is recommended to use material to
dampen the vibration.
6.0. Installation
Once the machine has been installed it is ready to operate. Mains connection is carried out according to
wiring diagram. Please make sure that electricity type, voltage and protection are according to the
appropriate values. There must be a safety contact connection. Protection 16 A.
Attention! Check for correct direction of rotation (clockwise) of the drilling screw. When checking
the field of clockwise rotation, switch off feed => otherwise components might be destroyed.
7.0 Operation
Carefully clean the parts covered with corrosion protection.
After that, the column must be greased, and the table must be adjusted several times.

9.0. Operating the Machine
All machines are switched on/off at the main switch. In order to do so, the Emergency switch-off has to
be unbolted.
10.0. Barrel Feed
Manual feed is applied with the drill lever.
11.0. Adjusting Height
11.1. For machines with pivot adjustment, in order to adjust table/head: loosen table/head clamps, and
adjust with hand crank.
11.2 Attention! Squeezing danger; before adjusting the drilling table, untighten the clamping lever.
After positioning retighten again.
12.0. Adjusting Spring Tension
Attention! Pull out plug!
Remove plastic cover, loosen cylinder bolt and adjust tension of the spiral spring with tension lever, after
adjustment tighten cylinder bolt again.
13.0 Height adjustment of drilling head
Attention! Squeezing danger; before adjusting the drilling head, untighten the clamping lever.
After positioning retighten again.
14.0 Care reference
For cleaning each standard cleaning agent for plastic is suitable.
