à Single stroke mode:

à Torque Limitation: The standard version of GL electronic is equipped with a torque
limitation (0 - 100%) in order to protect sensitive tools from excess strain. Set desired torque at
. If possible, the torque should be selected only at the size at which the tool cuts without
problems.
à Clockwise/counterclockwise thread: The default setting is clockwise.
In order to switch to counterclockwise, keep
pressed until (<<<<) is displayed. To switch
back, keep
pressed until (>>>>) is displayed. (For right thread insert guide screw with
right thread, for left thread insert guide screw with left thread.)
à Collision Protection: When thread cutting with lead screw the position of the lead bolt is
monitored by a sensor. If the thread cutter is lowered near the core drill, e.g. because of an
incorrectly inserted work piece, the lead bolt is screwed upwards, so that the sensor is released,
and the process is stopped (Error message ERR 1). Pressing
will start the machine again.
The same effect is shown in connection with drill fitting with strain control, in case the thread
cutter is stuck in the core drill and the torque is set too high.
à Function Pedal Switch: For the function "Thread cutting with lead screw" it has the function
of stop/start cycle. In addition it is possible t stop a cycle with the pedal switch.
