2.3. Operation Type "Thread Cutting with Lead Screw"
à Basic setting: Main switch "0". Barrel in basic setting "up". Push drilling depth ring (20) as
far out as possible (maximum drilling thrust). Fit lead screw and lead bolt (fig. B).
The gradient of the thread drill must be identical with the gradient of the lead screw!
(For right thread insert guide screw with right thread, for left thread insert guide screw
with left thread.)
If the lead screw is fitted while the main switch is on, the LED display will show an error
message (ERR1). In order to remove the message switch off machine and then on again.
When the lead screw is fitted, the barrel must not be moved across the drilling cross.
