Pouring the water

1. Use the handle (5) to lift the
kettle off the base (7).
2. With the lid closed, pour the
heated water through the
spout (2) and into your chosen
container.
• If you want to heat more
water, allow the appliance to
cool off for 30 seconds.
• If you do not want to heat
any more water, pull the
mains plug out of the socket.
Empty the kettle after
each use. Otherwise, the
kettle will calcify more quickly
and the water will become murky
if not used for an extended
period.

Using the teapot

The teapot is made of glass
which becomes very hot
when it contains hot water.
Touching the hot teapot may
lead to burns.
Only hold the teapot by its

The teapot (13) is designed for
preparing tea and keeping it
warm.
1. First, boil water to the desired
temperature using the kettle
and as described in the chap-
ter "heating water" on page
EN-16.
2. Place the desired quantity of
tea in the filter insert (1).
3. Open the teapot cover (14)
and place the filter insert in the
teapot.
4. Pour the hot water into the tea-
pot and allow the tea to infuse
according to your preference.
