Inserting/Replacing the Batteries

The energy meter is powered by the power network as soon as it
is plugged into a mains socket. The energy meter is powered by
three batteries in order to save the recorded measuring values
when it is used and moved with different mains sockets, for
example.
The battery compartment (5) is located at the rear side of the unit.
1. Remove the connected consumer from the mains socket (1) of
the energy meter.
2. Turn off the small screw of the battery compartment lid and
push the lid forward to remove it from the battery compartment.
3. Insert three new batteries of the type LR03 (AAA) into the
battery compartment. Pay attention to the proper polarity of the
batteries. The polarity is printed inside the battery compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment with the lid and secure it with
the small screw.
5. After inserting/replacing the batteries, the energy meter
automatically switches on. Then set the day of the week and the
time.
