1. Is the signal between the camera and the receiver encrypted?
The signal between the camera and the receiver is not encrypted and is not possible to
encrypt. To capture the signal someone else has to be within the range of the camera with a
receiver that operates on the same frequency.
2. What does a clear "line of sight" mean?
A clear line of sight menas that no objects what so ever (walls, trees etc.) are inbetween the
camera and the receiver.
3. Why does the picture quality decrease when the camera or LCD-monitor is in motion?
When carrying the camera or LCD-monitor slight interference may appear. This happens
because the signal is constantly transmitted from different angles to the receiver.
4. Is the camera water resistant?
The camera in your horseCam-solution is classed IP66. This means that the camera is well
protected from both dust and humidity. It can be placed outside or in damp environments
such as stables.
5. Is it possible to add extra cameras to my horseCam solution?
It is possible to add cameras to your horseCam-solution. Please contact your local retailer or
visit www.horsecam-europe.com
6. Can I receive the picture on my tV?
The horseCam-solution is delivered with cables for connection to TV for both the videoLink
and the LCD-monitor.
7. How do I obtain longer range?
To be able to position the A300-antennas optimally, longer antenna cables might be

8. How do I obtain a wider camera viewing angle?
When this user's guide was made, it was not possible to increase the angle of the camera. Try
to move the camera or extend your system to include more than one camera to supervise a

10. Can I receive pictures from the trailer without starting my car?
Since the power is cut when the engine is shut down the picture will disappear from the LCD-
monitor. LUDA Elektronik offers a re-chargeable battery box that can be connected to the
camera with a run time of 10 h.
