7 Troubleshooting
Only suitably knowledgeable, qualified profes-
sional technicians may perform repairs on the
machine!
Malfunction
The machine will not start. The voltage supply has not been prop-

Cause

The connecting cable is defective.
Faulty power supply.
A safety switch is defective.
Tools are loose.
Tools are damaged or worn.
The machine is overloaded.
The drive overload protection has trig-
gered.
The connecting cable's cross section is
too small.
Rectification
Connect the connecting cable (exten-
sion cable) with a proper power socket.
Replace the connecting cable.
Use a different power socket if neces-
sary.
Replace the safety switch.
Fasten tools.
Replace tools.
— Reset:
a. Wait 2 ... 3 minutes.
b. Restart the machine
(! Chapter 3.1).
— If the drive overload protection
trips repeatedly, the load on the
machine needs to be reduced
(mount other tools if necessary),
otherwise motor damage could
result!
Check the connecting cable or other-
wise the extension cable and replace if
necessary.
