Charging the standard batteries
The rechargeable batteries for your telephone have a stand-by time of max. 110 hours at
room temperature and a maximum talk time of up to 8 hours.
The current battery capacity is shown in the display.

If the battery capacity is too low, you will see a display message.
To charge the batteries, place the handset in the base station or the charger with the display
to the front.

Tone (TD) or pulse (PD) dialling
This trend-setting feature enables you to use your telephone both on analogue exchanges
(Pulse Dialling/PD) and on digital exchanges (Tone Dialling/TD). The unit is set in the factory
to Tone Dialling (TD). If your telephone does not work on your exchange, you can find out
under Section 8.2.4 how to set up your telephone for pulse dialling (PD).
