seats sold or approved by our company.
• You are personally responsible for the safety
of your child at all times, please read these
instructions carefully and make yourself familiar
with the product before using it.
• Always keep the instructions for future
reference; there is a storage compartment
specifically provided on the child seat.
• Do not use second-hand products whose
history is unknown. Some parts could be broken,
torn or missing.

• Replace the smart cushion when it has been
subject of violent stresses in an accident: it is not
optimal safety for your child.
• If in any doubt about the correct installation or
use of the system, the user is advised to contact
the distributor or the manufacturer of the child
restraining device system.
USAGE
• The smart cushion only works with a
smartphone that has the Maxi-Cosi e-Safety
application installed.
• The Maxi-Cosi e-Safety application may only be
downloaded from official stores.
• Turn on Bluetooth® in order to use the
functionalities of the application.
• Maxi-Cosi e-Safety does not interfere with
the operation of the Bluetooth® system that may
be present in the car.
• If there is no signal from the mobile operator,
Maxi-Cosi e-Safety will activate the first level
alarm but will not be able to send the SMS to the
emergency numbers (second level alarm).
• Only use mobile phone numbers as emergency
contacts (no landline or national emergency
numbers).
• To use Maxi-Cosi e-Safety, "Airplane" mode
should be deactivated.
• If two or more smartphones are paired to the
same smart cushion, it's necessary to identify
which one is effectively connected and therefore
should not be abandoned.
