To achieve an optimum mulching result you should reduce the machine speed for mulching compared to
traditional mowing to allow the grass to remain in the mowing blade longer and thus be cut several times.
The best cutting pattern and result are achieved on a dry lawn, since wet cut grass will stick together and clump
quickly. These grass clumps will rot and mould, preventing the desired ecological cycle.
If the lawn has to be mowed in a very damp, wet state, the cut grass must be shorter i.e. the cutting height must
be set 1-2 levels higher than with a dry lawn.
You will notice that if you follow these simple rules you will have a healthy lawn and can save on disposing of your
grass cuttings.
If the grass should happen to be too high for mulching, the mulching mower can be converted for mowing with a
grass collecting bag in no time.
Converting the machine to rear ejection

Stop the engine.

Lift up the ejection flap.

Remove the mulch stopper from the duct.

Hang the grass collection bag in the provided holder on the mower housing.
Conversion of the mulch blade system is not required! Under difficult mowing conditions (e.g. wet grass) a
reduced filling level of the collection bag can result.
In order for the equipment be used once again as muIch mower, the muIch stopper must be installed again. To do
this, remove the grass collection bag, introduce the muIch stopper in the ejection duct and close the ejection flap.
Clean the ejector channel first.

vakwerkplaats te worden uitgevoerd. Door een verkeerd gemonteerde messenkoppeling of door
een te vast of te los aangetrokken messenschroef kan de messenbalk loskomen, hetgeen tot zware
letsels kan leiden.
Controleer elke keer voordat u gaat maaien de toestand en de goede bevestiging van het mes. De
bevestigingsschroef van het mes moet altijd door een geautoriseerde vakwerkplaats worden
aangedraaid. Als de messchroef te los of te vast wordt aangedraaid, dan kunnen meskoppeling en
mesbalk beschadigd worden of loskomen, hetgeen zware verwondingen kan veroorzaken. Een
versleten of beschadigd mes moet absoluut worden vervangen.
Bij de vervanging alleen originele mesbalken gebruiken. Niet gelijkwaardige onderdelen kunnen de
machine beschadigen en uw veiligheid in gevaar brengen.
Snijgereedschappen ter vervanging moeten permanent met de naam en/of het logo van de firma of
leverancier en met het deel-nr. zijn gekenmerkt.
