GENERAL

3.1

APPLICATION

Usage limitations: see chapter 4.1 "INTENDED USE".
The heating circuit filling station supplies softened or desalinated water for initial filling and feeding of the
heating system in accordance with VDI Guideline 2035 and protects the heating system from limescale
(and also from corrosion, when using the CLEAR FILL desalination bottles), which may lead to various mal-
functions or damage. Limescale on heat transfer surfaces, for example, reduces heat throughput and thus
heat output. Furthermore, the heat transfer surfaces may overheat in some areas. Limescale can also re-
duce the cross section and thus increase flow resistance. Proper functioning of control and thermostat
valves is often affected by even thin layers of deposits.
By using the CLEAR FILL desalination bottles, all dissolved salts are complete removed from the water.
This reduces the conductivity and thus the probability of corrosion. The risk of a microbial layer is also min-
imized. Over-alkalisation, often the result of using soft water, is avoided.
The heating circuit filling station ensures efficient operation of the heating system.
