Trix transportieren

Sollte es notwendig sein, das Trix im Auto, Zug oder einem ande-
ren Fahrzeug zu transportieren, dann können Sie die Gesamtma-
ße verkürzen (siehe auch Seite 6, Rahmenlänge einstellen). Sie
können den Vorbau ganz einschieben oder ausbauen und den
Sitz nach vorne oder nach hinten kippen.
1. Merken Sie sich anhand der Skala auf dem Vorbau die Position
des Vorbaus im Hauptrahmen. Es erleichtert die ursprüngliche
Einstellung wiederherzustellen.
2. Stellen Sie den Rahmen auf die kürzeste Länge ein. Beschrei-
bung finden Sie im Kapitel „Rahmenlänge einstellen" auf Seite
6.
3. Lösen Sie den Schnellspanner an der Gabel und nehmen Sie
das Vorderrad heraus.
Achtung!
Achten Sie darauf, dass das vordere Schutzblech nicht be-
schädigt wird.
4. Lösen Sie die Arretierung des Sitzes indem Sie das Kabel (hier
gelb markiert) nach unten drücken.
5. Kippen Sie die Sitzverstrebung nach vorne.
6. Kippen Sie den Sitz nach hinten (Bild mitte).
oder
7 Lösen Sie die Sitzbespannung unter der Sitzfläche und kip-
pen Sie den Sitz nach vorne (Bild unten).
8. Jetzt können Sie das Trix transportieren.
Achtung!
Schützen Sie empfindliche Teile wie z.B. die Scheibenbrem-
sen und Schaltwerk vor Beschädigung.
Für den Transport im Flugzeug oder bei Transport mit einem
Transportunternehmen empfehlen wir das Trix in einem Karton
zu verpacken.

Transporting the Trix

The Trix can be adjusted to its most compact state for transporta-
tion by car, train, or other vehicle (see also page 6, Adjusting the
frame length). The front boom can be fully inserted or removed,
and the seat can be folded forward or backward.
1. Before shortening the frame for transport, make a note of
the position of the front boom in the main frame (using the
length-adjustment markings). This will make it easier to ad-
just the Trix to the required length after transport.
2. Adjust the frame to its minimal length. For more information,
see section "Adjusting the frame length" on page 6.
3. Loosen the quick release on the fork and remove the front
wheel.
Caution!
Be careful not to damage the front fender.
4. Release the locking mechanism of the seat by pressing down
on the cable (shown yellow in diagram).
5. Fold the seat stay forward.
6. Fold the seat to the back (see middle diagramm).
or
7. Unfasten the seat cover beneath the seat and fold the seat
forward (see lower diagram).
8. Now the Trix is ready for transport.
Caution!
Be sure to protect all sensitive parts, such as the disc brakes
and rear derailleur, from damage.
If you are planning to take the Trix on an airplane or have
it shipped by a forwarding company, we recommend pack-
aging it in a cardboard box for protection.
