7. Then you can start to cut out the windscreen with the help of a ratchet (wrench opening 10).
We recommend to use the ASK cutting agent (item No: 6600 6168) for the parts of the removal
process which are difficult to cut.
We recommend to use the ASK removal protect set 2 pcs (item No: 4915 70) in order to
avoid damages on the dashboard and other covers, such as e.g. on the roof lining. Further-
more, it is necessary to protect the dashboard by appropriate means during disassembly
(cover or mudguard). Fig. 13/14/15/16
8. During the removal process always make sure that the wire does not exceed an angle of 90° in
relation to the adhesive beading (45° is the optimum angle in order to avoid extreme difficulties
when cutting with the wire). I.e., depending on the cutting section, the bridge or the guide pulley
should be positioned in a way that a smallest possible angle in relation to the adhesive beading is
created. (Pull the flap on the suction cup in order to reposition the bridge or the guide pulley) Fig.

9. Since the puncture and the fixture end of the wire do not always coincide the remainder of the
adhesive beading must be cut either using the T-shaped handle included in the delivery by pulling
it outside or it is necessary to detach the end of the wire from the first fixing point and to fix it
again at another more distant position. Then, it is possible to cut the remaining adhesive beading.
Please make sure that the windscreen is already loose in its frame. In case of possible diffi-
culties when cutting with the wire, the windscreen might easily slip. (Secure it with a fabric
tape) Fig. 23/24
Attention:
• Always protect the dashboard during usage with a cover or a similar material!
• When threading the wire, protect particularly sensible areas against damages of the
lacquer by masking them
• If the suction cups are positioned on fractures, on heavily soiled windscreens or on
stickers, it might be impossible to generate sufficient vacuum!
• It is recommended to wear protective goggles and gloves!
• Only use the cutting wire for one car, since the stability and the cutting performance
are decreasing.
Explanation of symbols:
• Wear appropriate safety goggles
• Wear gloves
• It is necessary to read the operating instructions in order to guarantee the operational
readiness
Any liability for damages on cars is excluded, if the product is not correctly used.
