ASK Removal Kit EASY CUT
ENG
The ASK removal kit EASY CUT distinguishes itself by its easy handling. One person is performing
the removals. Due to the close guiding of the wire on the disk, the disassembly of internal linings
is a thing of the past. Furthermore, the risk of damaging the lacquering of the windscreen frame is
prevented as far as possible. A highly adhesive vacuum which guarantees safe working is genera-
ted by means of integrated vacuum pumps on the suction cups. The compact case is perfect for
mobile use.
Operating instructions
1. Remove all covers, wiper arms, trims and seals from the windscreen frame, which disturb the
disassembly.
Disconnect possible plug connections of window glass antennas, rain sensors or heating systems
from the windscreen and put/push them aside in order that they are not getting damaged during
this removal process.

Observe the manufacturer's instructions when disassembling airbag systems!
2. Pierce the windscreen adhesive from the inside of the car using a stabbing awl. It is recommen-
ded to pierce it at a position outside the windscreen where a provision is available to fix the wire
on the car body (e.g. a fastening screw of the wiper) Fig. 3/4
3. Thread the end of the wire in the stabbing awl and carefully pull it inside the passenger com-
partment. Choose the length in a way that the end of the pulled in wire is diagonally in the upper
third of the windscreen below the sunshield on the passenger side. Fig. 5/6
4. Place the bridge diagonally opposite the puncture in the top third of the windscreen (top right).
Fix the suction cups on the windscreen by pumping until the red strip on the piston pump disap-
pears. Please make sure to position the bridge in a way that the cutting wire does not exceed a
maximum angle of 45° in relation to the adhesive beading.
Please avoid placing the suction cups on possible cracks or stickers (environmental badge, etc.).
Bend the end of the wire and fix it to the reel of the bridge. Slightly tighten the wire. Fig. 7/8/9
5. Then position the cutting wire outside around the windscreen. Make sure that the wire fits clo-
sely to the adhesive beading below the windscreen edge. First place the wire once around the
windscreen, then cut it and fix it on the car body e.g. on the fastening screw of the wipers or on
the hood hinge. Fig. 10/11/12
6. On rear windows or side windows, where it is quite difficult to fix the wire on the outside, it is
necessary to thread the end of the wire in the already existing puncture and to pull it also inside. If
possible, it should be fixed at an appropriate place there. If this is not possible, it is necessary to
retain it using the T-shaped handle included in the delivery or gripping pliers. (Please secure the
side and small rear windows against slipping and falling out during the removal process by means
of a fabric tape)
