2. Disconnect the USB cable from the camera.
3. Remove the USB cable from the cable clamps.
4. Remove the cover profile behind which the USB cable is installed from the edge protection frame.
5. Remove the defective USB cable.
6. Install new USB cable in the profile slot in the same manner as the defective USB cable was.
7. Fasten the USB cable in the cable clamps.
8. Fasten cover profile to the edge protection frame so that the USB cable is protected.
9. Connect the USB cable to the camera.
10. Attach the front cover to the edge protection frame.

Changing the camera beam

The camera must not be removed from the adapter plate. The camera is mounted on the adapter plate at the
factory and calibrated as an assembly. If the camera is removed from the adapter plate, the calibration is lost
and the camera cannot be used.

1. Remove the cover profiles from the rear profile slot in the camera beam.
2. Disconnect the USB cables
3. Remove the USB cables
4. Note the position of the cameras in the camera beam.
If the cameras are fastened in the wrong position on the new camera beam, the DAS 3000 provides incorrect
measured values.
5. Loosen the screws in the adapter plate (2).
6. Remove the adapter plate with the defective camera

7. Loosen the countersunk bolts
means of a hammerhead nut.
8. Lift and remove the camera beam (2).
