Changing the cameras on the camera beam

The camera must not be removed from the adapter plate. The camera is mounted on the adapter plate at the
factory and calibrated as an assembly. If the camera is removed from the adapter plate, the calibration is lost
and the camera cannot be used. Screws that must not be loosened are sealed.

1. Disconnect the USB cable
2. Loosen the screws in the adapter plate
3. Remove the adapter plate with the defective camera

4. Insert the adapter plate with the new camera with mini USB socket down into the camera beam.
5. Fasten the adapter plate to the camera beam by means of screws.
6. Connect the USB cable to the cameras.

Changing the USB cables

The USB cables are attached to the cameras and are routed to the mounting for the laptop/tablet via the profile
slot in the edge protection frame or the camera beam. The USB cables are protected by cover profiles.

Changing the USB cable on the camera beam
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the camera.
2. Remove the USB cable from the cable clamps.
3. Remove the cover profiles behind which the respective USB cable is installed.
— Remove the cover profile from the camera beam.
— Remove the cover profile from the edge protection frame.
4. Remove the defective USB cable.
5. Install new USB cable in the profile slot in the same manner as the defective USB cable was.
6. Fasten the USB cable in the cable clamps.
7. Fasten cover profiles in the profile slot so that the USB cable is protected.
8. Connect the USB cable to the camera.
