4.4.2 Installing the position indicator on the
DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430)
1. Remove the position indicator from the
DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430) (Abb. 5, item 1).

2. Attach the position indicator (1 690 381 214)
from the scope of delivery of the SCT 141x to the
DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430).

4.4.3 Setting the position indicator without an
offset
On a measurement bay without an offset, the "SCT
2" position indicator is used. A measurement bay wi-
thout an offset means that the vehicle (Abb. 7, item
2) rests on the same surface (Abb. 7, item 1) as the
DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430) (Abb. 7, item 3) during cali-
bration.

1. Remove the "SCT 1" position indicator if it is at-
tached to the position indicator 1 690 381 214.
2. Slide the "SCT 2" position indicator to 400 mm on
the scale on the position indicator (Abb. 8, item 3)
and secure it.
