6. Prior to use

Remove the LED spotlight and the installation materials from the packaging.
Check the LED spotlight for signs of damage. If damaged, the LED spotlight
must not be used.

6.1. Assembly

The installation must be performed only by
an authorised electrician!
The circuit must be switched off during the
installation!
Use suitable tools for the installation.
When drilling the holes, make sure that no
cables or pipes in the wall are damaged.
Use a H05RN-F power cable [6], for
example.
 Remove the mounting bracket [4] from the LED spotlight. To do so, remove
the screws [3] and the corresponding spring washers and flat washers on
the left and right of the mounting bracket [4].
 Remove the mounting bracket [4] from the LED spotlight [1].
 Use the mounting bracket [4] as a template to mark the two outer holes.
 Then drill two holes and attach the mounting bracket [4] using the
supplied plugs and screws.
 Open the junction box [2] by loosening the four screws and removing the
cover.
 Loosen the cable gland [5] and remove the rubber seal.
 Put the nut of the cable gland [5] and then the rubber seal with the flat
side first on the power cable [6].
