It is not necessary to „pre-heat" the grill as the infrared
grill produces radiation energy immediately.
If you prepare food using the combined microwave-grill
functions you should note the following:
For large, thick foods such as roast pork the microwave
time is correspondingly longer than for small, fl at foods.
However, in the case of the grill it is the other way round.
The closer the food is to the grill, the faster it turns brown.
This means that when large joints are prepared using
combined operation the grilling time may be shorter than
for smaller joints.
For grill and grill/combi operation, please proceed as
follows:
1. Press the PAUSE/ABBRUCH button.
2. Press the HEISSLUFT/GRILL button.
Select one of the programmes by pressing the
HEISSLUFT/GRILL button repeatedly:
G Only grill
G1 Grill and microwave in combination
Grill and microwave in combination
G2
with a higher grill ratio
3. Select the desired cooking time using the arrow keys.
For example:
programme G2, 10:30 min. cooking time

4. Press the START button to start.
After the time has elapsed the device switches off and
the word END appears in the display. Now remove the
food.

Tip: turn the meat halfway through and continue cooking for 3 - 5 minutes;

Tip: allow to cook without liquid in its own juice, turn once and continue
cooking for 4 - 5 minutes.
Fish
Trout, blue

Tip: turn halfway through and continue cooking for 3 - 5 minutes.

Individual Cooking Programme
If you would like to enter your own cooking programme
for certain food preparations, you can combine this from
the programmes Microwave and Grill/Combi Power (G,
G1, G2) and/or Hot Air/Combi (C, C1, C2).
Please proceed as follows:
1. Press the PAUSE/ABBRUCH button.
2. Select the desired microwave power by pressing the
LEISTUNG button once or repeatedly.
3. Select the desired cooking time using the arrow keys.
4. Press the HEISSLUFT/GRILL button once or repea-
tedly to select one of the programmes C, C1, C2, G,
G1 or G2.
5. Select the desired cooking time using the arrow keys.
For example: 3:00 min. cooking time at 100% micro-
wave power and then 9:00 min. grill

6. Press the START button to start.
After the time has elapsed the device switches off and
the word END appears in the display. Then remove the
food.
Note:
In this way you can combine up to four different cooking
sequences one after the other.
It is also possible to begin the programme with a Grill/
Combi or Hot Air/Combi setting.
Special Functions
Automatic Start
You can start the microwave or a Grill/Combi or Hot
Air/Combi setting at a predefi ned time.
In order to do so, please set the time fi rst.
To start the microwave automatically, please proceed as
follows:
1. Press the PAUSE/ABBRUCH button.
2. Select the desired microwave power by pressing the
LEISTUNG button once or repeatedly.
3. Use the arrow keys to select the desired cooking time.
4. Press the UHR button for more than 2 seconds. A
signal is heard and the display changes to the current
time. The fi rst fi gure fl ashes.
5. Using the arrow buttons and the UHR button, please
enter the desired starting time.
For example: 12:30 min. cooking time at 100%
power, starting time 14:20
