For low pressure gradient mixing, the HPLC Pump K–1001 can be combined
with the KNAUER Solvent Organizer K–1500. In combination with the Solvent
Orga-nizer K–1500 the pump is able to deliver up to four different solvents in a
low pressure gradient (LPG) system. The HPLC Pump K–1001 controls all
electrical functions of the Solvent Organizer K–1500 and supplies electric
power.

The solvent organizer K-1500 can also be placed on top of the pump K-1001 or
on the pump together with the degasser. To avoid unintended moving of the
degasser, the organizer should be fixed using the 4 mounting brackets.
This SOP refers to the WellChrom HPLC Pump K-1001 and the Solvent
Organizer K–1500.
1. Remove the stainless steel pans (see Fig. 21, Pos 6.1) from the Solvent
Organizer K-1500.
2. Insert the 4 screws with washers through the slotts in the bottom of the
organizer and screw them into the boreholes of the brackets placed below
the organizer.
