5.1 Equipping the torch
CAUTION

Puncture or cut-in wounds may be caused by the wire electrode.
• Keep your hands out of the danger zone.
• Wear the correct protective gloves.
Equip the torch necks according to the following figure. Observe the correct assignment and
tight fit of the wear parts:

NOTICE
• Use only gas-tight, plastic-insulated wire guides to ensure a secure shielding gas cover
and a defined current contact.
• Bare liners give rise to a loss of shielding gas and undefined power transmission.
