• Do not expose the charger and charging station to rain or
splashing.
• Set the direction selector switch (3) in middle position.
• Remove the battery (5) from the drill (fig. A).
• Insert the battery (5) into the socket of the charging station (10)
(fig. B).
• Connect charger power cord to the socket of the charging station.
• Connect the charger to mains socket (230V).
The charging station (10) will have red and green diodes lit up. Red
diode informs that the charging station is plugged to mains network
and green diode indicates the battery is being charged. Battery charging
is finished after approx. 3 to 5 hours, depending on the discharge.
Do not charge the battery for more than 8 hours. Exceeding this
time limit may cause damage to battery cells. Charger will not
turn off automatically when the battery is full. Red diode on the
charger will remain lit. Disconnect power supply before removing
the battery from the charger. Avoid consecutive short chargings.
Do not charge the battery after short use of the drill. The
battery and the charger heat up during charging. This is normal.
Significant decrease of the period between chargings indicates
the battery is used up and should be replaced.
Charging process heats up the batteries. Do not work just after
charging is finished - wait until battery cooles down to ambient
temperature, otherwise the battery will be damaged.
SPINDLE BRAKE
Drill is equipped with electronic brake, which stops the spindle
immediately after the switch (6) is released. The brake ensures
precision when screwing or drilling and prevents free spindle rotation
after it is switched off.

OPERATION / SETTINGS

SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
Switching on – press the switch button (6).
Switching off – release the switch button (6).
Each time the switch button (6) is pressed, the LED diode (7) ligths up
to illuminate the workplace.
ROTATIONAL SPEED CONTROL
Screwing or drilling speed can be controlled during operation by
increasing or decreasing pressure on the switch button (6). Speed
control enables soft start, which prevents drill slip when drilling in
gypsum or glaze, and helps to control the operation when screwing
and unscrewing.
OVERLOAD CLUTCH
Setting the ring (2) in given position causes permanent setting of the
clutch to specified torque. When the set torque is reached, overload
clutch releases automatically. It prevents screwing screws too deep or
damaging the drill.
TORQUE CONTROL
• Different screws and materials require different torque to be applied.
• The bigger the number corresponding to given position, the bigger
the torque (fig. C).
• Set the ring (2) to specified torque.
• Always start operation with low torque.
• Increase the torque gradually until appropriate value is set.
• Use higher settings to unscrew screws.
• When drilling choose settings marked with the drill symbol. When
this setting is set, the torque is the greatest.
• Knowledge how to choose appropriate settings comes with
practise.
Setting the ring in the drilling position deactivates the overload
clutch.
WORKING TOOL INSTALLATION
• Set the direction selector switch (3) in middle position.
• By holding the rear ring (12) of the chuck (1) and turning the front
ring (11) clockwise, you can set required jaw spread and insert
appropriate drill or driver bit (fig. D).
• Drill or driver bit must be pushed to the chuck (1) limit.
• Hold the rear ring (12) and turn the front ring (11) counter-
clockwise, tighten hardly.
Deinstallation of the tool is similar to installation, only the sequence
of actions is reversed.
Check position of the tool when installing drill or driver bit in the
chuck. Use additional magnetic adaptor as an extension when
using short driver bits.
LEFT – RIGHT DIRECTION OF ROTATION
Choose direction of spindle rotation with the selector switch (3) (fig. E).
Right rotation – move the switch (3) to the extreme left position.
Left rotation – move the switch (3) to the extreme right position.
* The possibility is reserved that in certain cases position of the switch relating to
rotation direction may be different than specified. Please refer to graphic signs
placed on the switch or tool body.
Do not change direction of spindle when the spindle is rotating.
Long lasting drilling at low rotational speed of the spindle
may cause motor overheating. Provide periodic breaks during
operation or let the tool operate at maximum speed with no load
for approximately 3 minutes.

OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

Drill is a maintenance-free tool.
Clean the body with dry cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents, as they
may damage the casing.
