• Do not store the power tool near sources of high temperatures and
expose it to direct sun rays.
• The screwdriver should be protected against temperatures over 40°C.
• Before the screwdriver is repaired, maintained or to be stored for a
longer period of time, take out the rechargeable battery or battery
unit from the screwdriver.
• A soft and dry cloth should be used to clean the screwdriver. Do not
use any detergent or alcohol.
• Battery fluid may leak from the screwdriver in extreme situations. If
leakage is found, proceed as follows:
• Carefully wipe the fluid off with a piece of cloth. Avoid contact of the
fluid with skin or eyes.
• If the fluid comes in contact with the skin, the place on your body
should be washed with plenty of water, alternatively the fluid can
be neutralised with a mild acid, such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the
fluid penetrates the eyes, they should be rinsed with large amount
of water for at least 10 minutes. Obtain medical assistance.
• Take precautions not to short contacts in the battery or rechargeable
batteries. Fire hazard!
• Do not throw used batteries or rechargeable batteries to fire!
CONSTRUCTION AND USE
The cordless screwdriver can be used with a range of screwdriver tips
and bits with shanks of different lengths and hexagonal cross-section
of 6.35 mm (¼") in opening. The power tool is designed to be used
as a screwdriver, it however can be operated with sockets and drill
bits with 6.35 mm (¼") hexagonal shanks for light drilling works (e.g.
making pilot holes). Battery-powered cordless power tools are very
useful for works related to interior decorating, room adaptation, etc.
The power tool should be used according to its purpose only.

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

OPERATION OF THE CORDLESS SCREWDRIVER
Before the power tool is used, insert the batteries into the
battery holder. The batteries should be inserted correctly paying
attention to polarity.
• Press the buttons (4) and take out the battery holder (3) (fig. A).
• Insert four AA type batteries, and then slide the battery holder (3)
into the screwdriver handle.
