Finishing the orthosis
1) Clean the connecting surfaces with a degreasing cleaner (e.g 634A1).
2) Apply special adhesive (e.g. 636W18, 636W19) to the insertion zone of
the orthosis joint.
3) Insert the bars into the insertion zones and secure them with the sup
plied screws.
4) The dripping time of the adhesive is 3-4 hours. Final bonding strength
will be reached after 16 hours.
5) NOTICE! Verify the functions of the system joint before handing
the orthosis over to the patient.
6) INFORMATION: Instruct the patient and responsible qualified per
sonnel in the handling of the joint.
6 Cleaning
Promptly clean the joint after contact with water containing salt, chlorine or
soap, or if it gets dirty.
1) Rinse the joint with clean, fresh water.
2) Dry the joint with a cloth or allow it to air-dry. Avoid exposure to direct
heat (e.g. from an oven or radiator).
7 Maintenance
INFORMATION
The product may be exposed to increased loads by the patient.
► Shorten the maintenance intervals according to the expected loads.
The manufacturer recommends a semi-annual inspection to verify functional
ity and check for wear of the system joints.
